How to Post Events

**You must be a member (and signed in) to post an event, job posting, etc. on our website.
Not a member? Sign up using the form at the "join the group" link to gain immediate &
full access to the SoJust Calendar & Message Board. **


START by going to the SoJust Message Board (located under "Discussions" at the top of each webpage) and choosing the appropriate folder: VOLUNTEERS, HOUSING, EVENTS, etc. Click "start a new discussion" and post your message.


READ THIS TO FIND OUT HOW GET YOUR EVENT POSTED TO THE SOJUST CALENDAR. If you are promoting a social justice-related event you can post it under EVENTS and we'll cross-post it onto the SoJust calendar. You cannot post an event directly to the Calendar, you must start by posting your event on the Message Board.

Please note that the SoJust Message Board isn't set up like other Meetup groups. We use it to POST - not to comment. We like to keep the focus on in-person gatherings and not on-line chatting. So you may include a request to have folks contact you via your Meetup profile (or provide an email) but don't expect a response on the Message Board.

And of course, you should plan to attend SoJust events - we rarely have a speaker or program - but we encourage lots of mingling and networking. Bring flyers/business cards and have lots of one-on-one or small group conversations about what you're involved in and find out what everyone else is up to.
